Brief
An estate that has made wine since 1799 had been reduced to a one-page brochure. The brief: recover its slowness and gravity online — and make it possible, for the first time, to book a tasting or a tour from the moment a traveller stumbles on the name.
Approach
We set the entire site in display serif, full-bleed photography of the river and the schist terraces, and built a parallel English experience for international wine tourism. The booking flow is intentionally calm — no pop-ups, no urgency banners, just three clear paths: tasting, tour, private dinner.
Result
A wine-tourism funnel that converts at five times the previous brochure rate. International bookings now arrive directly through the site, in two languages, with no intermediary.
Designed for the
small screen first.
Most of Quinta dos Novais's audience lands on a phone. Every flow was prototyped vertical-first, then scaled up — never the other way round.
